She made a career as a consultant and manager in the automotive industry and spent most of her professional life in China. Her various positions allowed her to gain insights into the working practices of large German car manufacturers\, e-car start-ups and automotive suppliers. Since 2022 she oversees the China projects at CAR Center Automotive Research. CAR is a private-sector research institute focusing on questions relating to mobility\, based in Duisburg\, Germany.
