Come find out at a discussion with Mr.Yoichi Maie, deputy director general of the Japan External Trade Organization’s Beijing office, who will present a report on Japanese investment in China during the first six months of 2006.

    Yoichi Maie, the deputy director general of JETRO Beijing since 2004, has been involved in numerous JETRO publications on the East Asian economy. He joined JETRO in 2001 after working at a private think tank, and was deputy director of JETRO’s China and North Asia division in Tokyo.

    Established in 1958, JETRO, or the Japan External Trade Organization, is a Japanese government-linked organization that works to promote trade and investment between Japan and the rest of the world.
