The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of China monitors the working conditions for foreign journalists in China and works to ensure those conditions meet international standards.
We keep track of incidents of harassment against journalists or their sources, both chronologically and by province.
But our reporting is only as good as our members make it, so if you’ve encountered problems, please let us know!
For more on how to deal with China’s unique reporting environment, read our Reporters’ Guide, which distills years of experience by several veteran correspondents.
